This does not look like the one in the book.
It might look okay if you were driving past really fast... in a snowstorm... at night. |
But get a little closer... |
I don't have it in me to take it apart to try to fix it. At least not right now. |
This bag was actually physically PAINFUL to make. It hurt my hands and shoulders to shove all the layers through my machine.
And then I flipped it right side out thinking, "It's all going to be worth it!"
And it wasn't.
Oh sweetie- that sucks. Not the bag but the way you're feeling. Stuff it somewhere dark and forget about it. (the bag not your feelings )
ReplyDeleteoh, i hate it when that happens!!!!! I agree with shay. stuff it somewhere if you need to be free of it. the good thing is, you tried a new pattern (right?)
ReplyDeleteThat is the worst feeling, isn't it? Here's a suggestion - give it to a toddler! Some little girl will think it's the most gorgeous thing she ever saw and play with it until it wears out! There are some bag patterns that I will never do again or buy one from the same designer - they are just ridiculously difficult to make and not worth the hassle. Chalk it up to experience and move on! But find a toddler and make this one all worth while!
ReplyDeleteI can't say anything more encouraging than what every one else said, but I would agree with Andrea~ new pattern, check! Make it again? No! On to the next!!
